Sailboat Rope Clutch Storage Cover

Cover an idle bank of sailboat rope clutches with this shaped fabric cover. The photos show the cover fitted over deck-mounted line clutches, with an opening for the ropes. Clutches, ropes and deck fittings shown are not included.

Match the clutch bank and rope opening

Measure the outside width, depth and height of the clutch bank and compare them with the selected model’s chart. Check lever clearance, rope exit position and fastening points. The number of clutches alone does not establish fit across different clutch designs.

Use the cover for storage

Remove the cover before operating the clutch levers or handling the lines. Keep controls and rope movement unobstructed. Let the equipment and cover dry before prolonged storage, and inspect the fabric and fastening points regularly.
